Thanks for getting in touch - my Cafe Manager has passed this on - please find answers below in blue! What percentage of hot drinks sold is takeaway? Approx. 39%   On average, how many reusable cups do people bring through to your cafe in a day? 15 - 20   Do you like/dislike when people bring reusable cups in and why? Yes - the more the better. We have a 20c extra cost for Takeaway coffee that is waived if you bring your own cup. Even though our cups and lids are compostable, it only works if every single one goes into a compost bin, often this is not the case and so, ultimately, BYO cup is the BEST option.   Do you give a discount or reward for when people bring reusable cups? Yes - 20c Takeaway fee is waived.   Is there a particular type of user who brings in these reusable cups? It's a pretty even spread - old and young, male and female.   Do you currently sell reusable cups at your cafe? Are they branded to your business...

Hi Brittany, This sounds like a pretty cool idea and yes, if it was something practical and stylish we could definitely review it for sale down the line. You could also look at some kind of multiple cup carry tray. Our takeaway sales are around 30% and of that I reckon only about 5 percent use reusable cups. We love people using their own cups but HATE it when people expect us to wash them out or make our gorgeous coffee in a dirty one. Two reasons being it is not acceptable in a 'health and safety' sense to have dirty cups on our coffee machine and secondly it's really disrespectful to the effort that we put in to making our coffee at a really high standard. Most people understand that but there are a few who can't seem to get the heads around it and think that we are just being precious :O There doesn't seem to be any one type of reusable cup user. No tell tale dreadlocks or birkenstocks.... We do sell reusable cups but no we haven't got...
