Your project sounds awesome! Would love to see a prototype. I’ve answered your questions below:

What percentage of hot drinks sold is takeaway?

- Between 50% - 60% 

On average, how many reusable cups do people bring through to your cafe in a day ?

- 15

Do you like/dislike when people bring reusable cups in and why?

- We love it! The use of takeaway cups is one of the biggest wastage problems in the coffee industry, and we think it’s awesome when people make a small invest in the looking after the environment. 

Do you give a discount or reward for when people bring reusable cups?

- Customers get a free coffee when they purchase a Keep Cup from us

Is there a particular type of user who brings in these reusable cups?

- We see a wide variety of customers using these cups

Do you currently sell reusable cups at your cafe? Are they branded to your business?

- Yes & Yes 

Do you think a collapsible travel mug would get more people using reusable cups? 

- Yea I definitely think the hassle of carrying a full size mug around puts a lot of people off.

Would your business be interested in this product or even selling this product in store?

- As we already retail our own branded Keep Cups, I don’t know if we’d be in a position to sell these models as well. But I’d be really interested in checking them out!

We are also thinking of ways in which we could partner with business' like yours in a way where these cups could be branded to your individual business. We are not exactly sure how this would work at this stage but it's something we are really interested in developing. We like the idea of working together rather than creating more competition etc within existing brands of reusable cups. If there is a way we figure this out would you be interested then?
