I am a student at Massey conducting some research on disposable and reusable coffee cups for a design project. I understand you are very busy but I was just wondering if I could ask you some questions about how your business uses these cups.
A group of students and I are looking to design a reusable and collapsible travel mug that will help solve the issue of users who do not use reusable mugs due to the inconvenience of carrying it. If you have a minute we would love to hear from you.
We would like to know:
What percentage of hot drinks sold is takeaway?
On average, how many reusable cups do people bring through to your cafe in a day ?
Do you like/dislike when people bring reusable cups in and why?
Do you give a discount or reward for when people bring reusable cups?
Is there a particular type of user who brings in these reusable cups?
Do you currently sell reusable cups at your cafe? Are they branded to your business?
Do you think a collapsible travel mug would get more people using reusable cups?
Would your business be interested in this product or even selling this product in store?
This
information will only be used to help develop our design to the
specific needs of the users and will only be shared among the 4 members
of the group and our tutors who understand that this information is
private and once our research is collated the information will be
anonymous.
